Crestbridge Family Office Services maintain fundraising push for Youthful Minds
Head of Risk and Operations Chloë Blampied has agreed to ‘Brave the Shave’ to help maintain momentum in raising funds for local charity Youthful Minds later this month.
Chloë will have her hair shaved off on 24 April and is encouraging colleagues and contacts to make a donation to support the cause over the coming weeks.
No stranger to fundraising, Chloë has already completed a number of challenges to support local charities over recent years, including completing the Three Peaks Challenge, abseiling down Mont Orgueil last year, taking part in White Collar Boxing competitions twice, paddleboarding around the island and White Collar DJ-ing.
But as she explains, this year Chloë wanted to take on a different kind of challenge, more aligned with the mental health aims of the charity she is supporting:
“I’ve pushed my limits in plenty of physical challenges in the past, but this one is different. There’s a strong emotional connection to our hair and choosing to let go of it, particularly in such a public way, feels like an impactful away to shine a light on young people’s mental health. I really hope people can get behind the initiative and we can raise a good sum of money to support Youthful Minds, a charity that is important to me as well as my colleagues.”
Anyone wishing to donate to support Chloë’s ‘Brave the Shave’ challenge can do so here using reference ‘Brave the Shave donate’ in the comments.
Heather Tibbo, CEO, Crestbridge FOS, added: “This is such a personal challenge and I really admire Chloë for taking it on to support our chosen charity this year. Youthful Minds does an incredible amount to support young people right across our community and I’m really pleased that our team is continuing to make such a fantastic commitment to support their aims.”
Chloë’s challenge builds on colleague Josh Cullinan’s efforts to support Youthful Minds too – Josh will be raising money for Youthful Minds by competing in the London to Brighton Ultra Marathon in May, covering 100km in one single run from the capital to the south coast.
Amy Hall, Children, Young Person and Families Service Manager at Mind Jersey, added: “It’s fantastic that the team at Crestbridge Family Office Services is continuing to provide Youthful Minds with so much support this year. I’m truly grateful that Chloë is taking on such a personal initiative to support us, both financially and also by raising awareness around mental health in young people in the island.”
