Crestbridge Family Office Services director raises over £1,000 with charity head-shave

Crestbridge Family Office Services’ (Crestbridge) Head of Risk and Operations Chloë Blampied has raised £1,300 through a charity head-shave, as the firm continues to support the work of local charity Youthful Minds.

As part of the firm’s ‘Brave the Shave’ initiative Chloë agreed to have her head shaved last month, with colleagues and contacts making generous donations to support the charity.

Chloë has always been an active fundraiser and has completed a number of challenges to support local charities over recent years, including the Three Peaks Challenge, abseiling down Mont Orgueil last year, taking part in White Collar Boxing competitions twice, paddleboarding around the island and White Collar DJ-ing.

Braving the Shave was undoubtedly a daunting challenge and I’m really grateful to everyone who donated and supported it. We tend to have a strong emotional connection to our hair, but this initiative provided a powerful way to raise awareness around mental health in young people and the fantastic work undertaken by our nominated charity Youthful Minds.

Youthful Minds, part of Mind Jersey, works to support young people’s mental health in Jersey, providing guidance, understanding, and safe spaces for those who may be struggling.

Charlie Lucas, Senior Administrator at Crestbridge, put himself forward for the role of barber on the day.

Having the responsibility of shaving someone’s head was a challenge in itself, but it ended up being quite fun and the atmosphere in the office was really positive and reflective of the shared commitment we have to supporting Youthful Minds.
