Crestbridge Family Office Services’ (Crestbridge) Head of Risk and Operations Chloë Blampied has raised £1,300 through a charity head-shave, as the firm continues to support the work of local charity Youthful Minds.
As part of the firm’s ‘Brave the Shave’ initiative Chloë agreed to have her head shaved last month, with colleagues and contacts making generous donations to support the charity.
Chloë has always been an active fundraiser and has completed a number of challenges to support local charities over recent years, including the Three Peaks Challenge, abseiling down Mont Orgueil last year, taking part in White Collar Boxing competitions twice, paddleboarding around the island and White Collar DJ-ing.
Youthful Minds, part of Mind Jersey, works to support young people’s mental health in Jersey, providing guidance, understanding, and safe spaces for those who may be struggling.
Charlie Lucas, Senior Administrator at Crestbridge, put himself forward for the role of barber on the day.
Amy Hall, Children, Young Person and Families Service Manager at Mind Jersey, added: “This is an impressive and deeply personal fundraising initiative that takes real commitment and I’d like to thank Chloë for taking it on. We are truly grateful for all the support the team at Crestbridge continues to provide to Youthful Minds, both financially and by highlighting the importance of mental wellbeing amongst young people and in the workplace.”
